WinSYS City Campus aims to make its teaching, assessment, facilities and digital services usable by everyone, and to treat all learners and staff fairly.
1. Equality
We do not discriminate on grounds of ethnicity, religion, sex, marital or family status, age, disability, or any other characteristic irrelevant to a person's ability to study or work. This applies to admissions, teaching, assessment, certification, employment and the use of our facilities.
2. Reasonable adjustments
A learner with a disability, long-term condition or specific learning difference may request adjustments to how they learn or are assessed. Requests are considered individually and confidentially. Adjustments may include additional time, alternative formats, assistive technology, adjusted seating or an alternative assessment arrangement, subject to the rules of the awarding organisation.
Ask at application or at any point during your programme by contacting support@winsys.lk. You do not have to disclose a condition to the class or to other learners.
3. Digital accessibility
We work towards WCAG 2.1 Level AA for our website and student portal. This includes readable text contrast, keyboard operation, meaningful alternative text for images, clear form labels and support for text resizing. Accessibility is reviewed as the platform develops, and we welcome reports of anything that is difficult to use.
4. Language
Our public information is available in English, Sinhala and Tamil. Course titles, module names and awarding-body terminology are shown in English, because these are the terms used on certificates and by universities and employers.
5. Physical access
Access arrangements differ between our campuses. If you have an access requirement, tell us before you enrol or visit and we will explain what is available and make arrangements where we can.
6. Reporting a barrier
If something we provide is difficult or impossible for you to use, tell us at support@winsys.lk. We treat this as useful information, not a complaint, and we will tell you what we can do and by when.
